WHAT IS SCARLET HONORS WEEKEND?

    Scarlet Honors Weekend is the premiere weekend at Wabash for seniors considering the College as their destination next fall. This is an event where students will meet future classmates and world-renowned faculty, while experiencing the best of Wabash and competing for Honors Scholarships. It's one weekend for the rest of your life! 

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    Families and other guests are welcome to attend Scarlet Honors Weekend. While some programming is specific to the student, there will be activities and important information for families as well.  


    Students: If you're anticipating staying the night, you will need to complete and submit the Overnight Consent Form. This form is required for a student to stay overnight on our campus. You must submit this form, along with ONE 
    of the following items:

    • Proof of COVID vaccination
    • Negative COVID test 
    • Proof of COVID infection within the last 90 days


    Please email the above items to Stacy White at whites@wabash.edu. Please note that these materials will be immediately discarded upon receipt.

    WHAT TO BRING

    • Pillow
    • Overnight bag (including toiletries)
    • Sleeping bag/Blanket
    • Towel and washcloth
    • Warm coat

    WHAT TO WEAR

    Dress for Scarlet Honors Weekend is casual. You will be moving from place to place, participating in a variety of activities. Dress comfortably.


    WHERE TO STAY (PARENTS/GUARDIANS)

    While prospective students are staying on campus in the College’s residence halls and fraternities, their guests have some local lodging options available.
     

    There are several hotel options in Crawfordsville, but we have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn located 3 miles from campus. You must book your room at the Hampton Inn by November 5 to receive the group discount rate. You may also call Hilton Reservations at 1-800-HILTONS and mention Wabash College Scarlet Honors Weekend Group Block at Hampton Inn & Suites Crawfordsville or the unique code WCS to receive the group rate.

    Other local hotel options include the Comfort Inn, Best Western, and the Holiday Inn Express.  


    HOW TO GET TO CAMPUS IF YOU FLY

    If you are flying into Indianapolis International Airport, a driver will be provided for you and your guests, to and from the airport, if needed. We must have your travel itinerary if we are providing your transportation to campus. Please complete this form as soon as you have your travel information.


    WHERE TO PARK

    The best places for parking are the lots south of the Allen Center, north of Trippet Hall and south of the Fine Arts Center. Additionally, there is street parking available around campus, but please be mindful of street signs. As a friendly reminder, yellow curbed areas are non-parking. See our campus map for reference.
