PART 1: RESUME Signature qualities of a CIBE Innovation Consultant are the ability to work independently, seek out resources, meet deadlines, and provide quality work. Innovation Consultants are motivated, critical thinkers who lead their class in professionalism. We’re looking for gentlemen who can read and follow instructions, utilize the resources provided to them, and ask for assistance when needed.
Every Wabash man will be asked to create a resume in the Wabash Format when he arrives on campus. We would like you to demonstrate the qualities listed above by submitting your own Wabash resume. Please use the provided template, inserting your own experiences and information where the text is red. You should utilize the Freshman Resume Guide to help you determine what to include and where. We hope to learn more about the extracurriculars, leadership and teamwork experiences, and business-related experience you may have already acquired. Any skills or experiences you have that set you apart from the average high school senior are also excellent choices to include.
Your final Wabash resume should look exactly like the template and sample found in the guide. If you have questions or would like to request a review, you are welcome to contact our staff for assistance.
Note: Please use Microsoft Word to open and edit the template and begin creating your own resume. The desktop app is ideal (rather than the online version). Using Pages, Google Sheets, etc. is strongly discouraged. If you are unable to access MS Word at home, school, or some other location available to you, please let us know.

1. LEADERSHIP & TEAMWORK As a young professional and early in your career, you may not often have a title that puts you in a position to manage others. Please share specific examples from your jobs, extracurricular activities, or other experiences.
2. INNOVATION Tell us about a time you were innovative. What was the impact of your work?
3. BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP While your resume should outline any experiences you’ve had working in business environments, please use this opportunity to tell us a little more about your interest in business and/or entrepreneurship, your career goals, and why you’re interested in being an Innovation Consultant at Wabash College.
4. CRITICAL THINKING If you were given a million dollars, what are three things you would do with the money?
